Description

Measures the magnetic potential difference between two points. Connect it in parallel; no flux passes through it.

Example

Magnetic circuits A 100-turn winding drives flux through an air gap and a core, next to magnetic sources and a variable reluctance.

Ports

Outputs 1

  • V_m

    Magnetic potential difference port_p.V_m − port_n.V_m, in amperes.

Conserving terminals 2

  • +port_p

    Positive magnetic port.

  • −port_n

    Negative magnetic port.

Equations

Modelica
V_m = port_p.V_m − port_n.V_m
port_p.Φ = 0
