pulseVoltageLibraryElectricalDescription
An ideal voltage source producing a periodic rectangular wave. Each period starts at Offset + V for Width percent of the period, then drops to Offset.
Example
Electrical sources Every voltage and current source driving a resistor, each with a voltmeter across it.

Parameters
-
Amplitude
V5 VPulse height above Offset, in volts.
-
Width
width50 %0 to 100
High time, in percent of the period. Must be greater than 0 and at most 100.
-
Period
period0.001 s≥ 0
Period, in seconds. Must be greater than 0.
-
Offset
offset0 VLow level, in volts.
Equations
Modelica
p.v − n.v = offset + V while mod(time, period) < period · width / 100 p.v − n.v = offset otherwise p.i + n.i = 0
Implementation

MSL documentation Modelica.Electrical.Analog.Sources.PulseVoltageAssumptions and limitations
- Edges are instantaneous. The first period starts high at time 0; there is no start delay.
Tips
- For a gate signal driven by a duty-cycle input, use PWM generator instead.
